Hi, I am trying to visit a fitness center, however I have to drive on a highway which scares me a lot. So I found a short-cut through google maps. Would it be okay for me to park my car outside of some house on some normal street and then cross the highway to get to the fitness center ? Is it Legal to park outside of some house as long as it is parked well and is parked in the correct direction etc., ? pls advice...Can I park my vehicle in front of some stranger's house ?

It is legal to park in front of a house, if there is no sign saying otherwise and you are not blocking or close to any driveway, fire hydrant, stop sign, etc. However, it may not be safe or legal to walk across the highway.
