What would you do in this situation?

Ok here is the situation I am placing you in. I am giving you Items I did not have and taking from you an item I did have. This is a real situation that happened to me 3 weeks ago.



Here it is. You are a uniformed Security Officer driving on a 2 lane road through a neighborhood time is 10:45pm. There are 3 cars you and 2 other cars behind you about a 1/4 mile back. So what some of you say right? But this is were the test begins. The second car behind the car behind you is moving left to right in a controlled manor, but not attempting to pass the vehicle in front of it. What is your first thought. A. A stupid kid following his friend or B an aggressive driver. OK next you watch this for about 1-2 minutes notice that the driver is now driving erratic and in the South bound lane going North then back behind the driver behind you. What would you do then. You have NO cell phone you, don't believe in one (I had a co-worker that did not have one until 2006) and the nearest pay phone is a mile back from the direction you are traveling. If you go back and call the police they will ask you What color, type, make, and Plate number of the car you saw but it is behind you so you don't know that information. Yeah they may send an officer to check it out but by the time he gets to the area you told the operator no one is there.



Now I am giving you a weapon a Pistol or Tazer your choice and a Bullet resistant vest. Would you now A: drive on and say oh well not my problem and see on the news the next day Driver Assualted last night and you it was the driver behind you as it is in the Northeast Heights were you were driving. Or B: Turn and then say damn that could be not good for the other driver Turn around and try and catch up to them. Still no pay phone anywhere around and nearest Circle K or 7-11 is now almost 2 miles away. You see them going East 1 mile and then turn North onto a neighborhood street and both stop. The erradic driver is in the middle of the street just sitting there and the other driver in front of a house out of her car and on her cell phone but who you don't know. Now what would you do?



A: Drive on figuring that all is OK; B: Command the erradic driver to get out of his car and hold him till the Police arrive. Now remember you are armed and wearing a vest. or C: get the plate number make of vehicle and color and call it in as soon as you get to a pay phone.

Yes I know rent a Cops are not sworn officers but the Police are at least 5-8 minutes away if not more. And if this driver drives off he will most likely not get caught and drive another day and possilbly do this to another driver again down the road.

Now go North on Chelwood past Menual and continue on Chelwood as this is the street that the incedent to place. Once at Candelaria go East past 556 till Casa Del Nortea were the 2 drivers stopped.What would you do in this situation?
Okay, well truth is you need to do something, you don't want to risk losing sight of the perpetrator, but you have no phone, vest and weapon are useless, if you use them you are now liable, best chance is to turn around and get behind the perp, get the plate and the make of vehicle (color , etc...), and continue to follow at a safe distance, you can either wait for the chance that you see a police vehicle, or you can try to get the attention of the 2nd driver try to get her to pull over, at least if she pulls over, if the perp is just toying with her and there is no further issue when he sees you're involved he'll go away, if not at least she is in your proximity now and with a phone, you can also find out if it's her drunken fool of a friend or if she has no idea who the person is. Either way you can resolve the issue, you now have a phone to call and you can help protect the would be maybe victim. If that doesn't work for you, I wold follow until I came across an officer whether the officer is driving or not, as soon as you spot an officer you can them pull over and give a clear direction of travel and description to assist the police in identifying the perp.What would you do in this situation?
well i would go to the neigbour standing in the driveway on the cell phone and tell them that u need them to call the police to report this car that has been driving recklessly all over the road,hopefully that person is a good citizen and will do that or allow you to do that if the bad driver has plled over anyway maybe the police will have time to arrive. Other than that really just take note, realitically Shi* happens every day that we cant help or be heldresponsible for
