How can I make little maps for my wedding invitation?

I wanted to make a little map to put in my wedding invitations because its a pretty far drive from the church to the recpetion. I have gone to Google Maps and Mapquest and it only wants to print full page maps. I could also make a full page if I can print directions and map on the same page. How can I do this? How can I make little maps for my wedding invitation?
We had a teenage friend who is interested in computers and graphic design make one for us. He loved the challenge/feeling included and it was his wedding gift to us.
I actually got my map from the church website, printed it, and copied to send with invitations for people coming from out of town. If your reception venue has a website maybe you can get a map or directions from it.

If you can't get a good map, I would use very specific printed directions. How can I make little maps for my wedding invitation?
I see three options:

1) Hand draw it %26amp; scan it into the computer (easiest)

2) Take a map from mapquest and then edit it in photoshop, handdraw-ize it to give it a hand-drawn look (most difficult)

3) Hand draw it in illustrator. (in between; requires software of course.)How can I make little maps for my wedding invitation?
well that'll be hard to shrink and format and send to whoever's printing your invitations. I would just write out directions turn by turn instead. or you could have it printed in your wedding program, which will give you more room to work with.
On Map-quest there is a button to select if you want to print the map and the directions, its at the top and says print text and map. If you have an editing software you might be able to save the map as a jeg and crop out what you don't need...good luck
Well if you were able to mapquest it, so will your guests. Nowadays this is the common thing to do, you don't necessarily need to include a map. Just include the address and people will know what to do! :)
