Should I take Interstate 81 or 95 to get from New Jersey To South Carolina on a Sunday?

I'm driving to Disney World and stopping in Santee, SC overnight to sleep on Sunday night (leaving Jersey and driving 12+ hours). I noticed google maps gave alternate directions that gave an interstate 81. It took an extra 50 minutes and had one toll. That being said has anyone taken it and noticed they avoided traffic considerably, as well as, had a more pleasant drive (we all know the 95 corridor) or am I wasting my time?Should I take Interstate 81 or 95 to get from New Jersey To South Carolina on a Sunday?
I travel from Philadelphia to Greensboro, NC. I use I-81, it is a nice ride, but my destination is somewhat further west of the I-95 corridor so it make sense. For your trip I would definitely use I-95. While the DC area is congested it will still be faster.
On Sunday I wouldn't bother. The traffic on 95 shouldn't be too bad, and I can report that I-81 is not particularly attractive and has its own traffic problems around HarrisburgShould I take Interstate 81 or 95 to get from New Jersey To South Carolina on a Sunday?
The I-81 route is okay, but on a Sunday I wouldn't even bother. Monday morning would be much worse.Should I take Interstate 81 or 95 to get from New Jersey To South Carolina on a Sunday?
I-95 is faster
